A regular on History Channel's television program ''Pawn Stars'', Gottlieb is known for uncovering notable military artifacts, including Adolf Hitler's desk set, on which the 1938 Munich Agreement was signed,〔Young, Noel (2011). He attended High School at Gulliver Preparatory in Miami, Florida. His father was a World War II veteran and his mother was raised Protestant but converted to Judaism after marrying his father.
